Emulators

Emulators are an important tool for developing functions as you can test functionality without deploying to a production server. Install, start/stop emulators for your project as fast as you can click.

Install emulators

To install emulators in the workspace, click "Install Emulators" and wait for the process to complete.

Start/Stop emulators

To run emulators, click the button:

To run emulators, a Firebase project is required. Once you have clicked "Start emulators," you'll need to provide a valid project name.
